Head Coach Steve Woodburn was encouraged by a well attended, high quality session comprising of members of last years squad plus players nominated by clubs in response to a letter from new Manager Neil Farrell. Lionhearts management were particularly pleased with the geographical spread of attendees with quality players from as far afield as Kent, Devon and Gateshead involved.

The first training session for the 2008 season takes place at Hopwood Hall in Rochdale on Sunday 16th March. Players who represented the Lionhearts last year will be present while player nomination forms have been sent to all RLC clubs by Lionhearts Manager Neil Farrell in an effort to find new talent for 2008 and beyond.
